I am a walking miracle! I almost died in 1994 when I gave birth to my second daughter and hemorrhaged profusely. I underwent a number of life-saving surgeries. With a blood pressure of 44/22 & a pulse rate of 220, I was not expected to live through the second surgery. My father shut himself inside a hospital utility closet because there was no chapel, and he needed a quiet place to pray for a miracle. Soon after surviving this ordeal, God put a huge calling on my life. But before accepting this call, I would have to tackle post-partum depression, a divorce after 13 years of marriage, anxiety, and depression. This was followed by some poor choices and another failed relationship.
I no longer felt worthy to follow God's call. In my heart I felt that God was calling the wrong person and I was not "good enough" to do His work. God continued to call me but I chose not to answer. God brought my husband Brad and I together in 2007. With God as our foundation, we built a wonderful blended family. Brad was the first person to truly recognize the stirring in my heart. He knew I would not be content until I chose to follow God's call on my life.
The idea for Patchwork Faith Ministries was planted in our hearts soon after marrying. I collect old patchwork quilts and I am amazed by the love, work, and time that goes into each one. Seemingly meaningless scraps thrown together into a beautiful tapestry--each one telling a unique story. Our lives are very much the same. If we give God all the pieces of our lives, He will patch them together into something remarkable! He is the Master Weaver, and He will use each piece of our lives to tell our story. Through our patchwork lives, we can bring others to Christ. Remember, God doesn't call the perfect. He perfects the called! We just need to be obedient.
I have a master's degree in child education and I am a certified healing practitioner (prayer minister) through Global Awakening--backed by United Theological Seminary. I am also an ordained lay minister through Royal Family International. I enjoy meeting with women and children as they journey to wholeness. I always rely on the Holy Spirit to provide proper counsel for my clients.
Allowing God to work through me to bring healing to His people is a delight!
In Christ,
